TRUXPO will be rolling into Abbotsford on September 20 – 22, 2012. Tradex will play host to Western Canada’s largest and most inclusive trucking show. The 2012 edition promises to be the place to do business as key decision makers in the transportation and logistics industry prepare to modernize their fleets and warehouses.
TRUXPO is the event where industry meets to find new products and to see the latest in commercial truck and transportation equipment. Fleet managers, truck buyers, operators, service personnel and distributors want to talk with your sales and technical staff face to face to plan their next purchase.
Preparations are well underway and booth space is filling up quickly for TRUXPO. Local, national, international exhibitors and visitors will be at TRUXPO, which is one of Canada’s largest shows of class 5-8 Trucks and equipment.
Show management is currently working on the development of several exciting features, including a new recruitment campaign and educational program, as well as the popular Premier Showing. Master Promotions Ltd. will also utilize its Marketing Department, including the Exhibitor Complimentary Pre-Registration Program, to grow and develop a larger buying audience. This will only enhance this already mammoth event.

TRUXPO was recently acquired from the British Columbia Trucking Association by Master Promotions Ltd., one of Canada’s most recognized producers of trucking, forestry and construction equipment shows, TRUXPO will continue to provide a strong venue and sales platform for the trucking and logistics sector. A strong industry driven show committee will assist Master Promotions Ltd. with direct industry participation and assist with the continued growth and organization of this high caliber event.
The BCTA is the recognized voice of the commercial motor carrier industry in BC. Founded in 1913, BCTA has effectively represented its members on all matters affecting the commercial motor carrier industry for close to 100 years.
BCTA members include trucking companies hauling every conceivable type of freight requiring highway transportation, including manufactured goods, dry and liquid bulk products, forest products, household goods and general freight. BCTA also represents many waste management companies, ready-mixed concrete companies, container haulers, most charter and scheduled motor coach companies in BC, and a number of courier companies. Some of our members are among Canada's largest trucking companies, but the majority are small to medium-sized, BC-based and often family-owned enterprises. BCTA also has associate members that provide goods and services to the trucking industry.
BCTA represents about 1,200 companies. BCTA motor carrier members operate approximately 13,000 to 14,000 vehicles in BC, employ about 26,000 people, and generate over $2 billion in revenue in the province annually. BCTA is affiliated with similarly constituted trucking associations in the other Canadian provinces and with the Canadian Trucking Alliance, which represents the industry nationally in Ottawa.
