Moncton, NB- Mark your calendars for January 24-25, 2014! This marks the return of the Fish Canada Workboat Canada show; the must-attend industry event for those who make their living on the water or provide the services for those who do.
The Moncton Coliseum will be the venue for this exciting industry event.
The buzz is growing for this event, which promises to bring visitors the most comprehensive group of marine and commercial fisheries products and services assembled for 2014 in Eastern Canada!
This show will be jam-packed with the same wide range of international and local exhibitors visitors have come to expect and appreciate, featuring the newest, most innovative products on the market. The show floor will have all of the suppliers and equipment, engines, electronics, boat builders, marine and commercial fisheries equipment, showcasing the latest and most innovative products available, including exhibitors from all over the globe!
This event will appeal to a diverse audience group, with products and services for commercial fishermen, aquaculture vessel operators, tour boat operators, fire and police marine operations, search and rescue, research and scientific vessel operators, surveyors off shore oil service vessels and so much more.
Show Management is pleased to launch an educational component that will feature timely and relevant speakers, including: Francis Morrissey from the Tignish Fisheries Co-operative Association, Fisheries Safety Association of Nova Scotia, Clean Nova Scotia, Fishermen & Scientist Research Society, Nova Scotia Boatbuilders Association, Canadian Council of Professional Fish Harvesters, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and more sessions are in the works! Further details will be released in the near future.
The Navigator Magazine is pleased to join Master Promotions Ltd. in presenting this premiere event. Based in Newfoundland, The Navigator is Canada's largest fisheries magazine, covering commercial fisheries news from all Atlantic Canadian provinces.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Atlantic Marine Industries Hall of Fame. If you know a person in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island who deserves special recognition for his/her contributions to the marine industries, we would love to hear from you. Inductions will be in three categories: Mariner (anyone who works or has worked on the water in any marine industry), Processor (anyone involved in the business of processing from line workers to company owners), and Builder (recognizing those who have made contributions without having directly participated, i.e. industry advocates, organizers, boat builders, etc.).
Individuals and businesses are encouraged to submit nominations by completing this form, and emailing or faxing it to The Navigator (contact information below) before December 31, 2013.
