Fall Ideal Home Show 2012

The Nova Scotia Fall Ideal Home Show Kicked off Renovation Month

It was a wet dreary weekend in the HRM for the Fall Ideal Home Show, but the deals were hot and it was dry inside of Exhibition Park where the leaders of the home building and renovation industry converged for the Home Show.

Business was brisk with many consumers planning their fall and winter renovation projects.  Lots of people cut great deals right on the show floor and took advantage of the many show specials offered in the flyer and on site.

The Herald Homes Stage was well attended and the speakers offered up entertaining and informative seminars from Deb Nelson and Mag Ruffman, just to name a few.

The Man Stage was packed for the Cook off with Chef Rich from Chef Live and Bobby Mac from Q104! Bobby Mac was ultimately crowned “the man.”

The Taste of Home Feature was a hit and featured the Dairy Farmers of Canada Cheese Seminars, Tasting with Prince Edward Distillery, Sainte Famille Winery , Jamies Crack Corn and the Cake Lady. Thanks to Bloom Greenhouse for the autumnal floral décor.

The Winner of the “Win a KOOL Home Décor Package Worth over $5,000” from KOOL FM, Simmons Mattress Gallery, LaZBoy Furniture Galleries and Jordan’s Home Furnishings Ltd. was Roger Mitchelmore.

The Winner of the “Let us help you with the Honey – Do List Solution… Win $5,000 to spend from the Canterbury Group & Q104!” was Krista Sullivan!

Lina Murphy was the winner of a 12 Month complimentary FibreOp Bundle from Bell Aliant Fibre Op.
